Admission Procedure

Medico China is excited to announce that admissions are now open for the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) program at Soochow University and Nantong University.

1 .PROGRAM : This program is conducted in English, providing international undergraduates with a comprehensive medical education. The MBBS program has a duration of 6 years, including a 1-year internship. Upon graduation, students who meet the qualification requirements will be awarded a with the degree of Bachelor’s degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor Surgery (MBBS).

2 .NUMBER OF ENROLLMENT :  We have limited seats available for International students, and admissions are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to secure your spot in the upcoming intake.

3. CURRICULUM: Our MBBS program encompasses a wide range of subjects essential for medical education. The curriculum includes courses such as China Profile, Inorganic Chemistry, Higher Mathematics, Chinese Language, Computer Science, Medical Physics, Organic Chemistry, Cell Biology, Systematic Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Chinese Medicine Language, Medical Law, Regional Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Pathophysiology, Pathology, Parasitology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Medical Genetics, Medical Ethics, Basic Surgery, Diagnostics, Health Administration, Nuclear Medicine, Rehabilitation Medicine, Radiology, Anesthesiology, Epidemiology, Medical Statistics, Hygienics, Community Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dermatology and Venereology, Emergency Medicine, Lemology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Forensic Medicine, E.N.T., Stomatology, Pediatrics, and more.


Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old,, with good physical and mental health and outstanding school grades equivalent to a Chinese senior high school diploma.

For applicants who abandoned their original Chinese nationality and obtained a foreign nationality, Universities follows the guidelines specified in Document No. 83 (2009) from the Ministry of Education of China. Detailed requirements and supporting documents are outlined in the application process.

Specific high school exam result requirements vary by country, and applicants are encouraged to refer to the admission information provided for their respective countries.


Applications are open from December 1st of the year before registration until August 30th of the year of registration. Please note that if all available seats are filled before August, the admission process will conclude earlier. The exact deadline will be announced on our website.


You can apply directly or through an authorized agent by submitting the required documents.


Step 1 : 

We will login to application system and upload the required documents. The admission office will review your application within 2 working days after you have successfully submitted all the required documents. If your application passes the initial review, you will receive a system message confirming the review and be required to pay a non-refundable deposit. An electronic acceptance letter and a formal notice regarding the deposit payment will be sent to your email.

Step 2 : 

Pay the non-refundable deposit of within 7 days of receiving the acceptance letter. If you register on the specified date, the deposit will be deducted from your tuition fee, and you will need to pay the remaining balance.

Step 3 :

Upload the deposit remittance receipt to the online application system and email to the address communicated to you .

Strep 4 : 

After receiving your deposit, University will provide you with the Confirmation of Admission and the Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202) via the contact information you provided in the application system.

Step 5 : 

Apply for an X Visa to study in China at the embassies or consulates of the People’s Republic of China, along with the Admission Notice and the JW202 form.

Step 6 : 

Register at the School of International Education of university you are admitted, on the specified date, with the originals of the Confirmation of Admission from NMU, the Physical Examination Form, and the JW202 form.


Please prepare the following attachments for your application:

1 . Passport copy (within the validity period)

2. Notarized photocopy of the highest diploma/degree. If you are currently studying or working, provide a bona fide certificate or work experience certificate. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized translations.

3. Notarized photocopy of transcripts for your most advanced studies. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized translations.

4. Certificate of non-criminal punishment/Records

  • Tuition Fee , Please see the fee structure given to you
  • Accommodation Fee: Double room, CNY 6,000/person/year
  • Refundable Deposit: CNY 4,000 (refunded upon graduation)


  • Accidental Injury and Hospitalization Insurance (every year)

  • Bedding stuff (first year)

  • Laboratory Clothes (first year)

  • Campus Card with CNY 200 inside (first year).


If an international student wishes to withdraw from the university after paying the tuition and accommodation fees, the Finance Department of concerned university will refund the fees according to relevant regulations.
